Hospice of Stanly County

A group of dedicated volunteers and clergy joined to organize the first and only free-standing non-profit hospice agency in our service area in 1979. Hospice of Stanly County was incorporated in 1981 and began serving patients with a volunteer-based staff in 1982.

Over time our agency has grown into the leading end of life care provider for Stanly and surrounding counties. We have touched the lives of over 3,500 families by offering comfort care and support to patients and helping families transition to life after loss.

Our hospice team continues to work together with patients and families to bring peace and dignity to a time of tremendous upheaval and strives to help patients live each day to the fullest.
