Hospice of Stanly is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to become part of the Admissions Team. This important “trusted triangle” serves as a first look at the organization. Here, you can make a positive difference in an otherwise anxious experience for most patients and their families.
Admissions Nurse: Seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to serve as part of the organization’s admissions team, positions that are part of the Trusted Triangle and interdisciplinary team. The admissions team is often is one of the first contacts with the organization, guiding patients and their families through the initial assessment. This team plays a significant role in the educational process for patients, families and caregivers. Primary responsibilities include processing referrals, gathering all necessary medical records and supporting documentation, and completing admissions for patients who meet eligibility criteria for hospice. In addition, this team works professionally with referral partners, patients, families and members of the community. Applicants must have 1-2 years of acute care experience; hospice or home care experience strongly preferred. Must have current NCBON licensing without restriction.
